The Minister of Labour and Social Policies Marina Calderone held a bilateral meeting, in the margins of the G7 Labour and Employment in Cagliari, with the Japanese Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare Keizo Takemi.
The two challenges shared by Italy and Japan, linked to demographic ageing, the rapid transformation and digital innovation of labour markets were at the centre of the conversation, as well as the profound changes in the life and work models of their respective societies.
The importance attributed to investments in human capital, in continuity with the Japanese presidency of the G7 Labor 2023, was also confirmed.
